22H5B C-Bar with C-Bolt: Corrosion-Free Pipe Support for

In industrial areas where steel structures meet piping systems, corrosion is a silent but dangerous threat. The 22H5B C-Bar™ is made of a semi-circular, pressure-resistant thermoplastic. Thanks to the rounded shape, the contact surface with the pipe is minimal, which prevents moisture from accumulating and significantly reduces the risk of corrosion. In addition, the C-Bar™ acts as electrical insulation between the pipe and the steel, effectively preventing galvanic corrosion – a common cause of damage to various metals.

The role of the C-Bolt™ in corrosion protection

For added stability and attachment, the C-Bar™ is combined with the specially designed C-Bolt™. This U-bracket is encased in a protective polyolefin heat shrink tube. This sleeve serves as an abrasion-resistant, chemical-resistant barrier between the bracket and the tube, thus preventing corrosion even at the attachment point.

The C-Bolt™ is resistant to extreme conditions from -55 °C to +110 °C and is UV resistant. This makes the system suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications in harsh industrial environments.
